History: On April 28th, 2003, Apple released a new iPod with up to 30 GB storage, docking station and new design. Only 4 months after introduction in September 2003, Apple replaced the 15 and 30 GB models of iPod by 20 and 40 GB configurations. Apple discontinued the 10 GB model in January 2004 and reintroduced the 15 GB configuration as entry-level model instead.
